We are located in the beautiful state of Colorado We were introduced to the wonderful boxer breed in 2004 with our first pet boxer, Lily. She is a complete joy to have around and made us fall in love with this great breed! Unfortunately, Lily came from a byb (back-yard breeder) and along with it, a huge array of health issues, including Spondylosis, a terrible genetic disease that affects her spine. She is a real-life example of why responsible breeding is important. When it came time to add a second boxer to our family we were blessed to come in contact with Leslie of Schattenboxen boxers whom entrusted us with the handsome Aeschylus vom Schattenboxen, "Ishie." Ishie has introuced us into the show dog world and we have been loving every moment of it. The future of the boxer breed is very important to us because we don't want to lose this spectualar breed to over breeding, poor health, and lack of the boxer standard. While we may not breed right now, we are hoping to bring more show prospects into our family in the upcoming years. As Ishie's health tests are completed, they will be listed on the OFA website because we believe it is important to support that database since not only does it benefit them for genetic research, it provides breeders with the resources to research the health of different boxer lines, even 50 years from now and we believe that more breeders should register health results with them to benefit boxer health in future generations.
